The staff was so gracious and helpful. The desk straightened out a booking mess. The breakfast staff brought my husband two coffees when we took a breakfast box, because he always had a second cup in the room. Very attentive and thoughtful!

I liked how close and centralized it was to everything. My wife and I made it to the Trevi fountain every night in a short 5 minute walk. I liked how clean and updated the rooms were and the view of the Pantheon was awesome. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Needless to say the location, the furnishings , the breakfast or the room. Knowing already that the Hotel del Sole is a jewel in the heart of Rome! The thing I appreciated most is the smiles of those who welcomed and accompanied us during the days spent at the hotel! The breakfast girls, Giuseppe, the girls at the front desk, what can I say? A winning location in the center of Rome, excellent breakfast, helpful and charming staff and a romantic and relaxed atmosphere! We celebrated my husband's birthday and received a birthday cake in the room! The suite was large and spacious with a balcony with an amazing view of the Pantheon and quality spa robes! It's clear to us that we will return to the hotel!!
Amazing location! So central and easy to get to popular places, but in spite of being in a central location the room was quiet. Lovely and helpful staff. Great breakfast. The room was comfortable, good size, with added bonus of coffee machine and tea making facilities.

My family stayed here for a day and it was our last day in italy. First of all, thanks for your kindness Luca! At first time, i was little suprised to hotel facilities which looked more older than i expected. I didn’t know that this hotel is one of the historical hotels in Rome, but beds,towels were so clean and cozy, view was fantastic. Breakfast was also good. Above all, staff were really friendly, so we had a warm,inviting feel. Especially Luca always helped us with smile. All of these offer a memorable experience to us and we’ll visit soon again!
You can walk around the Vatican, Navona, Spanish Steps, and Trastereve. The Colosseum and the Borghese Museum are a little far away, so I took a bus, but there are many stops nearby, so you can take your pick. It was in front of the Pantheon, so if you went out around 7 o'clock (in winter), you could take pictures with no one around, so the location was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, the room was cleaned every day, and water and cookies were provided to the room every day. The heating was well controlled, and the room I used was at the end with a view of the courtyard, so it was quiet without any noise at night, so it was great for sleeping. And the mattress and pillows are so good that I want to get the same one for my home. All staff were professional, friendly and had a good service mind. It seems to be a boutique hotel, but when I arrived before check-in, they brought my left luggage to my room, and when I checked-out, they called a taxi (due to the location, taxis could not come to the front of the hotel) and even carried my bags to the taxi. I've used many hotels in Europe so far, but I've never found one that was as good as this one. Of course, a 5-star hotel would be better, but I think a hotel of this level at this price is very good. If I go to Rome again, I will choose this hotel again! +The Google rating seems to be around 4.7, but it's strange that the rating is only 4.2. And the wifi is fast. Since I go back and forth and see the Pantheon every day anyway, it's good enough even if it's not a room with a Pantheon view.
This is the hotel that made my trip to Rome happy again this year. I will go again next year💕♥️ I first visited this place during my trip to Rome in January 2024, and I had such an amazing experience that I decided to return in January 2025. That's how perfect this accommodation was for me. The fantastic location right in front of the Pantheon, the kindness of the staff, the delicious breakfast, and the great coffee—all of it was simply wonderful. On the day I returned to Korea, one of the staff kindly waited with me for a taxi, and I promised to come back again next January. I truly can't wait to visit this place once more next year!
Yes it is extravagant but it was so worth it for a truly amazing Roman stay. We stayed in Deluxe Suite Rosetta (Room 311). It’s located in a nearby building (2 minute walk door to door tops) from the main hotel building. The view of the Pantheon from our large window (it opens fully) was outstanding!! The piazza makes for great people watching. Please note that it can be a bit noisy at night but it quiets down. The suite was so spacious for our five day stay. There is a small sitting area in the room before the main bedroom. Beautiful wood rafters make up the ceiling (building is hundreds of years old). One of the most comfortable beds , sheets and pillows I’ve ever experienced. There was a small kitchen and refrigerator. Wonderful pod espresso machine with pods (also drinking water in bottles ) refreshed every day. Bathroom was very nice ; high end toiletries products from Milan. Room service was excellent. All of the staff we encountered were so professional and knowledgeable. Christina at the front desk was outstanding. Breakfast was in the main hotel building (great coffee made to order). It’s an older building so space is a bit tight in the breakfast area; however , it was still enjoyable. They have the full honeycomb stand set up at the buffet- so delicious. The location is right in the piazza of the Pantheon. There is a nearby taxi stand and you are within walking distance to many sites ( Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, Vicus Caprarius , etc.).

An excellent boutique hotel right in the beautiful Pantheon, very pleasant rooms and really comfortable beds, breakfast with a small, high-quality selection, and really professional service from the entire hotel staff.

Business trip to Rome. Great location and view from the room. Inside the room there is everything you need to spend your time and meet all your needs. The kindness and courtesy of the staff is a strong point. Rich and varied breakfast.
If you’d like to stay in this area, I can’t recommend it more!!! The hotel is literally across from the Pantheon making a beautiful view and centrally located for everywhere in Rome. Walk a few streets of the piazza for wonderful restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable. Beds and pillows have been the best quality while on our extended trip. Staff was very accommodating and helpful!
We stayed here for two nights. We had a small courtyard view (but we didn’t come to Rome to stare out the window). The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. The staff were extremely kind!! The breakfast was delicious every morning. The location was absolute perfection. We arrived early and left our bags at concierge while we explored. We easily were able to hit all of the major tourist highlights from this location with ease. I researched so many hotels before deciding on Antico Albergo del Sole al Pantheon and I am extremely glad we booked here over all others. Beds were extremely comfortable, air was cold enough (it does not go lower than 17 Celsius, but in October, it was perfectly fine!), water was provided in the room, showers were big enough and had plenty of hot water. A steamer was provided at my request for our clothes. Overall, amazing hotel and staff! Would love to return!
